The savannah cat is a very unique and exotic breed. Created by crossing an African Serval with a domestic cat. The Savannah cat is named after the Servals homeland which is the Savannahs of Africa, also known as wetlands. The African Serval is medium sized and can weigh up to 50 lbs. The Savannah is a hybrid of the Serval and grows 15 to 25 lbs. The Savannah is not your usual domestic cat. Savannahs are exceptionaly friendly and loving cats. They are there to greet you at the door and will follow you around the house. They enjoy splashing in shallow water and dont be surprised if they get in the tub or shower with you. They are easily lease trained, recommended you start at an early age.

The Savannah is the most incredible house cat you could ever have. A wonderful addition to any family. High quality cat food is recommended and remember cats and especially these hybrids are carnivores, two to three weekly sevings of meat would be great for your kitten. If feeding raw, freeze three days prior. And never any raw pork. One more mention, they are guaranteed to enrich your life. We so love our Savannahs, and we know you will love yours.
